Angie Harris is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, and West Virginia. She is also a Licensed Substance Abuse Treatment Practitioner (LSATP) in Virginia. Angie is certified in Perinatal Mood Disorders (PMH-C), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). She provides individual and family counseling sessions as well as facilitates groups to treat complex mental heath and substance-related issues in Lansdowne.
Utilizing a strengths-based approach, she works in collaboration with clients to identify goals through a solution-focused lens. She implements a variety of theoretical approaches to develop person-centered treatment. As a therapist, Angie is passionate about working with others to create hope in their journey of life and identify solutions to support their ideal wellness.
In addition to providing individual, family, and group therapy for general mental health issues such as: Depression, Anxiety, Bi-polar, Dual Diagnosis, ADHD, Psychotic Disorders, Trauma, and Abuse, Angie provides specialized treatment for people struggling with Perinatal Mood Disorders, such as Post Partum Depression and Anxiety.
Angie is trained in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and utilizes Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skill-building in her work with clients to increase the ability to tolerate uncomfortable emotions and process unhealthy or unhelpful thinking patterns in order make room for change. She uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to support changes in feelings, thinking and behavior for lasting positive outcomes.
Angie has extensive experience working with adolescents and adults struggling with Substance Use Disorders. Angie is certified as a Master Addiction Counselor (MAC). She utilizes a Harm Reduction approach for Alcohol Moderation Management when appropriate. She is a trained SMART Recovery© facilitator and incorporates SMART tools and other alternatives to traditional 12-step models.
Angie has experience providing suicide prevention programming through The Jason Foundation, introducing early intervention services aimed at increasing awareness of the silent epidemic of youth suicide. She has experience as a certified pre-screener through the state of Virginia to assess the need for acute psychiatric hospitalization. She is a strong supporter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) and peer support systems.
She earned her first Master’s degree (MA) in Forensic Psychology from Marymount University and her second Master’s degree (MSW) in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Dr. Danielle Rothman is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the state of Virginia. She is authorized to practice interjurisdictional telepsychology through the PSYPACT Commission.

Dr. Rothman earned her Bachelor's Degree (BS) in Human Development from Cornell University, a law degree from Harvard Law School and her doctorate (PsyD) in Psychology from George Washington University.
